These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Maarkit platform ("Service"), operated by Jain Allaudeen A ("we", "us", "our"), based in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. By accessing or using Maarkit at maarkit.biz or app.maarkit.biz, you agree to these Terms.
Maarkit is a cloud-based market management platform (SaaS) for wholesale and retail businesses to manage stock, purchases, sales, vendors, staff, and billing. The Service supports fish, chicken, mutton, vegetable, fruit, and general goods markets.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If using on behalf of a business, you must have authority to bind that entity.
You must provide accurate information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activities under your Account. Notify us immediately at hello@maarkit.biz if you suspect unauthorized access.
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with limited features. No payment is required for the trial. After the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to GST at the applicable rate (currently 18% for SaaS under SAC 998314). Payments are processed through Razorpay (RBI authorized). We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' email notice.
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Maarkit. We do not sell your data to third parties. Each business operates in an isolated workspace — no other user can access your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You may export your data at any time. We maintain automated daily backups. Upon account termination, you have 90 days to export your data. After 90 days, data may be permanently deleted with 15 days prior email notice.

Maarkit — including source code, design, logo, brand identity, and documentation — is the exclusive intellectual property of Jain Allaudeen A, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. "Maarkit" is a trademark (registration pending, Class 42). You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service during your subscription.
The Platform includes AI-powered features (demand forecasting, reorder suggestions, analytics). These are decision-support tools only. We are not responsible for business outcomes resulting from AI recommendations. AI features use anonymized data patterns — individual transaction records are never shared with AI providers.
We target 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for downtime caused by scheduled maintenance (communicated 24 hours in advance), third-party service failures, your internet connectivity, or force majeure events.
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including loss of profit, data, or business opportunity. Reports generated by the Platform are based on user-entered data and do not constitute financial or legal advice.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Maarkit and its owner from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law including tax, labor, or food safety regulations; (d) any dispute between you and your customers, vendors, or staff; or (e) any content or data you enter into the platform. This indemnification survives termination of your account.
You may cancel at any time. Monthly plans: no refunds for partial months. Annual plans: pro-rated refund available if cancelled within 30 days of purchase. Your plan remains active until the billing period ends. Refund requests: hello@maarkit.biz.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, fail to pay within 30 days, or engage in illegal activity. Upon termination, data is retained for 90 days for export, then may be deleted.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Disputes shall be resolved first through good-faith negotiation, then arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Consumers may also file complaints with the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 15 days in advance. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
