These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Maarkit platform ("Service"), operated by Jain Allaudeen A ("we", "us", "our"), based in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.
By accessing or using Maarkit at maarkit.biz or app.maarkit.biz, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Maarkit is a cloud-based market management platform that helps wholesale and retail businesses manage stock, purchases, sales, vendors, staff, and billing. The Service is provided as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
To use Maarkit, you must create an account by providing accurate information including your business name, name, email, and phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. During the trial, you have access to limited features. After the trial ends, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. We reserve the right to modify trial duration and features.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to applicable taxes. Payments are processed through Razorpay. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
You retain ownership of all data you enter into Maarkit (purchases, sales, stock, vendor information, etc.). We do not sell your data to third parties. Each business account has a completely isolated workspace — no other user can access your data.
You may export your data at any time using the Backup feature. We maintain daily backups of all data. In the event of account termination, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted.

Maarkit, including its source code, design, logo, "The Scale" brand mark, and documentation, is the exclusive intellectual property of Jain Allaudeen A, protected under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. The name "Maarkit" is a trademark. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service during your subscription period only.
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for downtime caused by maintenance, server issues, internet connectivity, or circumstances beyond our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maarkit and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months or unused time. If you cancel, you retain access to your data for 30 days after cancellation.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or engage in abusive behavior. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.
